- PRIVATE BALLROOM LESSONS (1 hour by appointment): 

  Tuesdays at 3, 4, 5, 8 and 9 pm

 

     Dance styles covered may include offerings from the

     American Style or International Style syllabi.

 

            American Style Smooth:

                 Argentine Tango, Fox Trot, Tango, Waltz, Viennese Waltz.

 

            American Style Rhythm: 

                  Bachata, Bolero, Cha-Cha, East Coast Swing, Kizomba, 

                  Hustle, Lindy Hop, Mambo, Merengue, Night Club Two-Step,                   

                  Rumba, Salsa, Samba, West Coast Swing

 

            International Style Standard: 

                  Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Fox Trot, Quickstep

 

            International Style Smooth: 

                  Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive

 

Taught by award-winning ballroom dancer Sergei Slussky. Sergei has taught and performed extensively through his native Russia, Europe, and the U.S. before opening the American Ballroom Dance Academy and then Aquarius Ballroom Dance Studios in Portland, Maine.

 

Certified to teach by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance and DVIDA, Sergei's knowledge, experience, attention to detail, style, grace, and humor make this a fun and rewarding class.

Group Classes

Six-week sessions of group classes are scheduled throughout the year

1-hour class total for 6 weeks - $80/person

 

Private Lessons

Private lessons are scheduled by appointment on Tuesdays at 

3, 4, 5, 8 and 9 pm

1 Hour Private Lesson - $70/single or couple
